Oaklands Equine Hospital requires an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive REVN / RVN to head up our nursing team. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who seeks a supportive, leadership role.

The role will involve working in our well-equipped hospital, assisting with lameness examinations, surgery, diagnostic imaging and inpatient care. You must have experience of handling all types of horses, be organised with excellent communication skills and work with attention to detail.

Duties will include the directing and management of the nursing teams' day to day duties and responsibilities. In addition to this, you will work closely with the veterinary team in all other operational duties as required and play an active role in driving and teaching clinical excellence amongst the nursing team.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Full participation will be expected on the rota to include weekend work on a 1:4 rota basis.
