Join an independent practice in a great location. We have an opportunity for a full-time (part-time considered) senior veterinary surgeon who is confident with general surgery and medicine, along with an opportunity for an assistant veterinary surgeon to expand our team further as we continue to grow. Develop your career whilst enjoying a great work-life balance, with a friendly and supportive team of vets, RVN's, SVN's, reception team and support staff.

Bridge Vets is a modern, progressive, first opinion, RCVS accredited small animal practice, situated on the edge of the beautiful Norfolk Broads, with plenty of places to explore, along with the bonus of being only 15 minutes from the busy city of Norwich with its airport and railway links. As a family run practice, we offer full clinical freedom to allow you to follow up your cases.

We offer a 4-day week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (the Saturday is included in the 4 days), with no out of hours or Sundays. A competitive salary - dependent upon experience, RCVS, BVA & VDS fees paid, along with five weeks annual leave (plus bank holidays and your birthday off).

We also believe in giving the opportunity to develop your skills further, offering a generous CPD allowance, including the possibility of funding for advanced certificates.

We pride ourselves with the relationships we develop with our clients and patients, therefore you will need to be friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills along with the desire to work as part of a team, ultimately to provide the best standard of care for every pet and owner.

Our facilities include a large prep room and separate theatre. We have an imaging suite, with digital radiography and ultrasonography. We have a wide range of endosurgical equipment including bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, rhinoscopy and laparoscopy equipment.

We also have digital dental x-ray and an ever-expanding array of surgical and orthopaedic instruments/equipment, ECG, tonometry, full in-house laboratory, separate dog and cat wards. All rooms have fresh air ventilation systems and air-con, with four large consultation rooms.

We are incredibly proud of every member of our team, who work together to ensure every client and pet feels valued and that they receive the best possible care.

If you would like to be a part of our team at Bridge: for further details or a confidential chat, call David or Marie on 01603 783920 during working hours or 07932455462 after hours, alternatively click the APPLY button or email david.martin@bridgevet.co.uk.
