Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Imaging vet to join our 24 hour practice in Alder, Liverpool.

We are seeking a veterinary surgeon with a strong imaging bias who has an imaging certificate or close to achieving one. You will be working with a large, strong diverse team which includes veterinary surgeons, surgical certificate holder and a hospital vet who all contribute to the overall success of the clinic.

The ideal candidate will run CT, ultrasound scans and endoscopy within the hospital with some shifts covering inpatients. you would also be comfortable with holding occasional CPD talks and build caseloads.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £65,600 dependent on experience which includes:

Vehicle or vehicle allowance 

Accommodation allowance 

CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave

RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay

This role is 39 hours per week worked over 4 days with 1:6 weekends.

Skills and experience:

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS

Branch:

Alder 24 hour hospital has recently undergone a refurbishment and has excellent facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy and CT.

The hospital has a dedicated night team and takes referrals from the other Medivet branches in the region which enables the team to work on a varied caseload.
