Job Details

Our client is opening a brand new branch practice and are looking for a a Lead Vet to head up and manage their opening team.  The is opening in the centre of a large catchment with excellent retail neighbours which is always positive for veterinary start-up businesses that will draw a constant supply of potential clients.

This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced vet, most likely a minimum of 2 years and happy with most routine surgical procedures and medical case.  The role will allow someone to grow and develop a business and to pop their own clinical stamp on a practice.

Our client is happy to fund certificates in any small discipline.

They offer a 4 day week, with 1 in 6 weekends so excellent work-life balance.  Generous CPD, Fees paid and 5 weeks holidays with most bank holidays off. 

As the practice grows the Lead vet will be involved in the recruitment and development of other vets and nurses.  There is also the chance for the Lead Vet to buy into the practice as a partner if they wished.

The practice will be well equipped, digital x-ray, full lab, ultrasound, walk in kennels, large prep area and imaging room as well as a spacious theatre.  In addition, there is an entire spare floor with office, breakout areas and room for further expansion.
