An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Sutton Farm practice in Shrewsbury. You will be working alongside our friendly Branch Partner Emma and our keen recent graduate Luke.

The practice is currently undergoing an expansion to double the practice space and as such we are looking to grow our team. 

Emma is a dedicated veterinary surgeon who holds certificates in Dermatology and internal medicine. We are looking for someone who loves being a GP vet, enjoys helping clients and team-mates, and who is satisfied by investigating and treating cases. We value ongoing personal development and as such CPD is actively encouraged and certificate study can be supported.

A full time position is 39 hours per week worked over 4 days, with 1 in 3 Saturdays at Sutton Farm. (Saturdays are included in the 39 hours).

Salary and benefits

Salary package up to £63,000 dependent on experience

RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid

5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays 

Branch:

Sutton farm is a custom built practice and is currently undergoing an extension into the unit next door. We have our own facilities and also access to more advanced facilities at our main 24 Hour Hospital just 15 minutes away including a CT scanner. 

Once the extension is completed we will have additional kennel space, extra consulting rooms and separate prep and theatre.

Our Sutton Farm practice is in a great location – next to new housing estate, garden centre, Shrewsbury Town football ground, supermarkets, retail park and is a 10 minute drive from the town centre.
