We're excited to announce that due to clinic growth we are now recruiting for a novel role that will provide the right candidate with real variety to their working week and promote fantastic work/life balance.

We are looking for a candidate who would be interested in a full-time (although reasonable part time requests would certainly be considered) position split across two of our sites in the Oldham Borough of Manchester.

We would ideally be looking for an enthusiastic vet who would work a four day week, spending two days at our rapidly growing practice in the Chadderton area and a further two days at a smaller practice in the picturesque village of Lees.  

You will have an excellent balance of two faster paced days at our busier and very spacious clinic supported by an experienced Lead Vet and enthusiastic and motivated team as well as two slower-paced days in our Lees clinic to catch your breath and keep up to date with your case work and client communications. Both clinics are 9 minutes apart from one another so you needn't expect a long commute, either.

You will have access to great facilities with both clinics being equipped to a GP clinic standard as well as having future access to advanced imaging techniques such as CT at our 24hr centre and a close relationship with a local referral centre, and the Medivet Manchester community is a close-knit group with many Advanced Practitioners in several disciplines to help support your own clinical excellence.

This is a position without any on call or out-of-hours requirement as the practices are supported by our local 24-hour centre.

As this role does have a degree of supported sole charge it would ideally suit a vet with at least 1-2 years' of experience. There would be an option to discuss future leadership roles or partnership for the right candidate in the future.

Salary and benefits

Salary up to £57,000 dependent on experience 

RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid

5 weeks annual leave for full time plus bank holidays
