Job Details
I am searching for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon looking to work within a well-established modern Veterinary Hospital based in Buckinghamshire.
I am recruiting for an RCVS accredited purpose built Veterinary Hospital based in Buckinghamshire. We are searching for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work along-side the current team of 12 Vets, 10 nurses and practice support team. You will be able to enjoy working within a very modern and well-equipped practice with three operating theatres, Digital X-ray, Ultrasound and endoscopy, (soon to have a CT Scanner installed). They do have their own in-house lab with qualified Lab technicians as well.
Key Duties
You will be able to enjoy exposure to first opinion work with some cover in their 4 branches but mainly based in their Hospital.
The position has a really nice work-life balance with a 4 day working week; you will have no extra OOH, they have their dedicated night team on site but would be asked to work on their 1:7 weekend day Rota which is Saturday and Sunday with TOIL.
If you have worked the weekend you would get time back in lieu.

You will be rewarded with an excellent salary depending on experience. You will have a CPD budget funded to certificate level and generous time off. You will be able to enjoy 28 days holiday with extra days added with amount of practice service.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client requirements
We are ideally seeking a Veterinary Surgeon confident communicating within a team. Surgeons with previous UK experience are desired but not essential for this position as full support will be provided for you.
