Vet Surgeon Role - Brand New Guildford Hospital, Guildford

Brand new Veterinary hospital opening in Guildford January 2022, seeking additional Vet Surgeon to join 6-Vet team. 4-day working week, 1 in 4 weekends & no OOH's.

Prospect Health are working on a truly exciting veterinary surgeon opportunity within a brand new, 6-vet hospital in the Guildford area in January 2022. The hospital will be spacious and brilliantly equipped, with the vastly experienced team able to offer an exceptionally high level of care.

The rota is fantastic! The working week hovers between 4 and 3.5 days, so a 3.75-day week! The vet team work three 8-7pm shifts, one 8-3pm shift and then they have a regular day off each week. The specifics of the weekend rota are listed below but again it is a very sociable rota with flexibility on offer in the form of shift swaps etc. where needed.

Salaries are likely to be very competitive with a range of £40,000-£55,000 depending on experience, please contact Prospect Health if you have questions on the package as it relates to your experience as we can offer insight tailored to you.

The team are all in place and very excited to get started in January, we just need you in order to fill the last gap!

Key Duties

• 4 day working week
• 1 in 4 weekends - Sat 8:30-4 / Sunday 9-12:30
• 1 in 8 Saturday mornings
• No OOH's
• 15-minute appointments

Package and Benefits

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be RCVS registered
• Two years' experience minimum
• Excellent communication & client skills
