Job Description

Our successful small animal practice in Bulwell has a fantastic oppor-tunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and professional team. We are a busy practice with an established and ever-growing client-base as well as a varied caseload. Bulwell is situated in Robin Hood country, 4.5 miles from Nottingham's busy city centre, yet still close to the Peak District and East Midlands airport.

The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital
X-ray, ultrasonography, endoscopy and in-house laboratory facilities.

Our partner, Clare Vitale graduated from the Royal Veterinary College
in 1999 and leads an experienced team of 5 Vets, 5 Nurses and 4 receptionists, along with Nurse Partner, Hammond.

We are looking for someone confident, friendly and enthusiastic with great communication skills. You’ll have good general small animal surgical and medical abilities and a desire to learn and improve.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a busy environment where client and patient care are key.

We're ideally looking for someone who is able to work full time 40 hours per week, although we are happy to discuss other options. Weekend rota is 1 in 4 with the following Friday off, with no bank holidays or OOH!

This is a great opportunity to be part of a fun, hardworking and motivated team, offering the chance to develop your own specialisms in a supportive environment.

As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care, we offer:

  • Excellent career opportunities and development due to our varied case load
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Generous CPD and funding of certificates for the right candidate
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, VDS)
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards

If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join our team, we would love to hear from you.

We are an equal opportunities employer.
