Job Details

Due to an internal move, we are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic practice based in Stanmore in Greater London. 

This practice is one of the main practices in our Watford region, boasting an amazing patient and client base, a friendly and experienced team in a beautiful part of Greater London. The clinic is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. There are separate cat and dog wards and a high case load, so the successful nurse will be able to gets hands on.

This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting with training our student nurses through clinical coaching. 

As an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, you can even help shape the next generation as a Clinical Coach, using your knowledge and skills to help train and support nurses of the future.

Salary and hours 

  • Competitive salary of up to £32,615 per annum depending on experience
  • £300 CPD allowance with 2-days leave and in-house CPD available
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • 5 weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays 
  • Hours are 40 per week including 1:6 weekends with time back in lieu (TOIL) 
  • Fair share of bank holidays with TOIL and minimal on-call duties, if required

Branch:

Medivet Stanmore is a well established practice led by Branch Partner Magda. Magda is very experienced and is completing her certificate in Ophthalmology. She is also very skilled with ultrasound - especially of the heart. She sees ophthalmology and cardiology cases for the other clinics within the group.
