Medivet Faversham, formerly known as Toachim House Veterinary Surgery, is a well-established practice that boasts many successes, such as carrying out a 3D printed partial jaw replacement.

The team at Medivet Faversham consists of 4 Veterinary Surgeons and a large nursing team. The soon to be 24-hour centre offers a range of services, including ECG, Endoscopy, a wide range of orthopaedic surgery, operating theatre, ultrasound, dentist equipment and x-rays with a CT Scanner soon to be fitted.
Faversham is the oldest market town in Kent, bursting with history and places to visit. Faversham train station and the B2040 are both a short distance from the hospital, making it easy to commute. The market is only a short distance from the practice and has lots of stalls and places to eat.

We are looking for a friendly and supportive Night Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team based in our Faversham clinic.

This position would suit a nurse that has experience working in a small animal practice and is now seeking a new challenge where they can develop their skill set. this is currently a sole charge role looking after stable patients post-surgery and transfers from other clinics in the region.

The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care and be willing to provide valuable peer support to patient care assistants if needed.

The shift pattern for this role is 5 nights on 9 nights off, 7pm-8am. This calculates to an average of 32.5 hours per week throughout a year.

Skills and experience:

You must be Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Night shift experience is highly desirable but not essential.
