We are currently looking for an additional vet to join our team in Maidstone and Bearsted branches.

Your time would be split between the two branches, where you can get to work alongside an experienced and very supportive team. 

The case load is very varied and you will have the opportunity and facilities to work your cases up to a high standard. This position would also give you the exposure needed to gain the case load for a certificate. 

If you already have a particular interest, working as part of Medivet means that your colleagues can send you cases in your particular field of interest too. 

You would work 4 days a week (9AM till 7PM) and be part of a 1 in 3 Saturday rota. 

Skills and experience:

Must be a registered vet with RCVS.

At least one year's experience. 

Branch:

Bearsted is located in a nice residential but rural estate, access to good local amenities, set within a nice local shopping parade which has a supermarket, restaurants and local shops. Local public transport and a 10 min walk from town. A good cliental that tend to be families with a good community spirit. Staff parking is available which is separate from client parking. Both and Front and back entrance of the practice. Close to the M20 to get in and out of London.

Equipment within the practice – X-ray, ultrasound, dental X-ray, A separate theatre and prep room. Separate cat and dog ward. 2 large vet consult rooms. 1 Large Nurse consult room. Digital X-ray. We also are getting a CT scanner in Kent that will be accessible to use. Cutting edge orthopaedic surgery that you will be able to get involved with Laparoscopy surgery referrals. We also have Two exotic referral practices within the region and use a local out of hours service provider so no out of hours

We also have a good team of support staff, close to local clinics so will have a good support network, Medivet hub and spoke model.
