Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Formby, Merseyside

Hours: Permanent, 4 - day week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings! No OOHs

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience up to 50K per annum

They are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for 2 years + qualified Vet, that is looking to step up and join a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, with a mixture of consults and surgery. As a membership only practice, they like to keep the books at a manageable level and with consults included in their health plan, they can see their patients and clients back as many times as needed.

This independent is a truly wonderful practice, located on the Sand dunes of the North West Coast, close to the vibrant, cultural city of Liverpool.

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The practice would consider applications from all levels of experience. It is about the right personality fit for the team that is important, the rest can be taught! Lots of support and development on offer from this amazing team.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis. Full time hours would be 4 days per week, no OOHs and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, though part-time positions and flexible working are equally considered, don’t be shy in finding out if you can be accommodated.

Prospective candidates will be able to consult and operate in a very supportive environment with all the expected facilities. Including, – Digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, K-laser, in-house lab, larposcopic spays, excellent RVNs and the occasional trainee.

Within this role you will be given a good degree of clinical freedom to deal with cases but there is always the opportunity to discuss things with a colleague they love a good natter about cases and support is available from the team at all times.
