Job Description
We have a unique opportunity within our West Midlands Vets4Pets family for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join us at our practice in Lichfield. This is a great opportunity to lead and inspire the current team whilst being instrumental in the direction the practice takes.
This role is the perfect stepping stone to partnership or a great chance
for an experienced vet to progress into a leadership role. If desired, you
will have the opportunity to experience running a practice (in a superb location) as if it were your own, but with the support of an established and successful group network.
The surgery is set within one of our Pets at Home stores so it is purpose built to deliver the highest clinical standards, already having a loyal client base with the potential for further growth.
We’re looking for a vet with strong small animal experience, gained as
a general practitioner, as well as excellent people skills. Specialist interests and postgraduate qualifications (or a wish to gain them) are welcomed and supported with our generous CPD allowance but are not necessary to the role.
Locally, you will be supported by Gabriel Wax. Gabriel graduated over 20 years ago in Italy and opened his first practice in 2010 based in Sutton Coldfield. With the success of his practice in Sutton Coldfield, Gabriel then went on to open his practice in Lichfield in 2018.
This will be a challenging role as there’s still work to be done to bring the practice up to the same level of success as Gabriel’s practice in Sutton Coldfield but with this brings huge opportunity.
The potential for this practice cannot be underestimated and therefore makes this a truly exciting opportunity to be part of something special.
This role comes with a competitive salary up to £62,000, up to £5,000
relocation allowance and a generous benefits package* that you would expect from a major employer in our sector but with a few added extras!
*(including 20 days leave + bank holidays with service based holiday entitlement increases and dedicated CPD budget including funding towards certificates)
For more information and a confidential chat please contact Laura on 07790 372441 or email via the apply button.
We are an equal opportunities employer.
