An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Eccleston, Lancashire 

We are looking for a Lead Vet who can fulfill the potential of the surgery and build on the service currently available. 

This role would suit an experienced vet who enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice. The successful candidate would need to have exceptional communication skills and enjoy dealing with clients. Some management or natural leadership experience would be beneficial. In return we would offer an attractive salary and benefits package.

You will be working alongside an experienced leadership team and support staff.

This role is full time working 39 hours per week over 4 days giving you a great work/home life balance. Weekends will either be 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full weekends depending on your preference.

Salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience

22 days annual leave, plus paid 4 week sabbatical every 5 years, day off for child's first day of school and day off if getting a new pet!

Branch:

The Eccleston practice is a spacious clinic having been a busy doctors surgery prior to becoming a veterinary practice. The clinic is a branch of the Chorley 24 hour practice where clients are currently going for surgery and work ups. Eccleston does have its own theatre that could be fully utilised which is a great opportunity for a Lead vet to fully utilise with the team.
