We're looking for a lead veterinary surgeon to join the fantastic team at our Selston practice.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team. You will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice client base, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically, such as good communication skills, mediation experience, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own part of the clinic, have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

Salary package up to £65,000 PA, Including:

Our small and friendly branch is set in gorgeous rural countryside. Medivet Selston is a one vet practice that has recently been refurbished and is located less than 15 minutes away from our purpose built 24 hour RCVS accredited hospital offering support from certificate holders.  

Medivet Selston is located in the Nottinghamshire countryside 12 miles from the city centre. The beautiful Derbyshire Peak District is less than 50 minutes away giving access to fabulous walking and cycling routes.
