We are seeking a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our amazing team at Hampstead Garden Suburb.

Key accountabilities:

This role would be suitable for an experienced RVN with excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, to lead our team of 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 3.5 receptionists (in conjunction with our head receptionist, and debt/accounts are also managed by the reception team).

Ideally the successful candidate will also have experience as a clinical coach, supporting SVNs in branch. We'd love someone to join our friendly and supportive team, to work closely with the Branch Partners and vets to keep our busy but fun clinic well run.

The role offers the opportunity to continue a good mix of clinical work (theatre, nurse consults and inpatient care) alongside management and team leadership. New ideas and suggestions on how to improve our day to day running always welcome, the role comes with a good amount of freedom and autonomy, whilst always having the support and help you need! 

Branch:

Medivet Hampstead Garden Suburb is very well-equipped with both digital x-ray and dental x-ray, dental machine/table, ultrasound, blood pressure machine, pulse ox, lab including microscope, separate cat and dog wards and front of house pet boutique.

The practice is led by our two Branch Partners, Jeremy and Sarah, who between them have been there for over 20 years!  They have a strong bonded client base, who are very invested in their pets and giving them a high standard of care.

We are a practice who pride ourselves on our genuinely friendly, supportive and collaborative team and there is always someone to ask for advice or lend a helping hand. Both BP's have certificates in Medicine, with Jeremy's interest lying in complex and chronic medical cases and Sarah doing a lot of the advanced soft tissue surgeries, alongside enjoying the client relationships with our regular patients.

It is very important to us that we have the time and ability to give great quality care, and as part of this we run 20 minute consults as standard.

We also benefit from 24 hour support and OOH care from our award winning Hendon 24-Hour hospital with access to CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic facilities, plus much more!
