Veterinary Surgeon

The Role

Glenbrae Vets, Bearsden are looking for a full-time vet surgeon for a
2-year fixed-term contract, to cover maternity position starting from February 2022. We are a 3-site small animal practice situated in Bearsden, Dumbarton and Muirhead offering the opportunity to work between the 3 practices. Offering a holistic approach to patient care, caseloads include in house titre testing, homoeopathy referral, ultra-sound referral, stem cell therapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture.

Rota

• Working 38 hours per week
• Across 4 days
• 1:3 Saturday mornings – Deducted from total weekly hours
• No OOH
• Closed on Sundays

Salary

Up to £50,000 negotiable D.O.E.

You will join a team of 10 veterinary surgeons, 8 RVN’S 2 SVN's, 9 Client Care Advisors and other support roles.

Applicant requirements

Must be RCVS registered and qualified, with some experience in 1st opinion practice and be confident in sole charge. Confident to handle your own caseloads and assist less experienced vets to enhance their surgical skills. Skills in laparoscopy would be desirable but not essential.
