PhD Studentship – How does Endothelial Damage Contribute to Progression of Canine Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease?

Scholarship award: £24,090 pa plus tuition fees

Applications are invited for this fully-funded PhD studentship, providing an opportunity for a veterinarian to undertake clinically-relevant, scienti-fically cutting-edge research. This project will investigate glycocalyx damage and endothelial injury in a longitudinal study of dogs with MMVD.

The successful candidate will receive training in all research methods used and will generate clinical data through participation in research clinics.
