Veterinary Surgeon

Our Leyland practice are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, whether you are an experienced Vet or a newly graduated Vet, this is the role for you.

Based in the north-west of England, Leyland is perfectly situated to provide easy access to Manchester and Liverpool as well as the Lake District and Dales.

Having taken over the practice in 2016 we have grown to provide a high level of first opinion care for our loyal and growing client base within the town. This allows us excellent case continuity for our vets and opportuni-ties to work to a high standard.

We offer our next Vet high levels of flexibility when deciding on their fixed weekly rota in order to ensure they gain maximum satisfaction from the role:

• 20-40 hours per week, no OOH
• 20 minute consults with fixed down time of 3 hours per working day
• 5 weeks holiday per annum with no bank holiday working
• RCVS and VDS cover included
• Open 6 days - 1pm finish on a Saturday (1 in 4 rota)
• Generous CPD package - certificate work encouraged and paid for the right candidate
• Complete clinical freedom
• Award winning nurse training practice
• Salary negotiable (circa £25-50K)

Purpose built surroundings with in house ultrasound, radiography, IDEXX laboratory and use of peripatetic services to supplement orthopaedic, soft tissue surgery, cardiology and internal medicine caseloads.
