We are seeking a forward-thinking and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at Medivet Notting Hill - Chepstow Corner! 

The surgery is equipped for majority of orthopaedic procedures, and very well equipped for soft tissue surgery. 

We have a friendly team made up of our Lead Vet and Clinical Coach, Peter and Izzy, our newly qualified student who is waiting to enrol as a RVN - we are also recruiting for an additional RVN to join us. We take pride in our clinical quality and care, practising to a very high standard including pre-op bloods for all surgical cases.

Full time salary package up to £59,369 per annum depending on experience to include:

  • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

Skills and experience:

We are seeking someone with a minimum of 1-2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.

Although you'll be working alongside of our Lead Vet majority of the time, you must be confident to work sole charge, if required. 

Competent in basic routine surgeries i.e. spays and castrates with great communication skills to continue building strong working relationships with our clients.

Medivet Notting Hill - Chepstow has recently joined the Medivet family. 

The team is led by our Lead Vet and previous practice owner who is well established in the local community. 

Based in the heart of Notting Hill and neighbouring the Bayswater area, we have great clients who want the best for their pets and appreciate our attentive service! 

We have a full range of equipment including full IDEXXX lab, digital and dental X-Ray with gold standard dental surgery, ultrasound (with a visiting specialist once a month for echocardiography), class 4 laser therapy with the view to open up to new clients once we have our second vet. 

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 weekends.

We have a fair share rota of bank holiday cover duties approx. 2 per year and on-call to support our dedicated night team although this is very minimal. 

The practice is situated in a beautiful area of London with plenty of independent shops and cafe's as well as easy transport links available.
