The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Easipetcare, Reading!

The role provides a varied consulting caseload that will allow the less experienced to hone their skills and will keep the experienced vet stimulated. Teamwork is key in our team with knowledge sharing on cases encouraged to ensure good patient outcomes. We are supported by VetCT tele-radiology as well as unlimited VetCT telemedicine support for those trickier cases.

Surgery is on a rotational basis within the team with an interesting mix of soft tissue surgery, imaging and dentistry planned for surgical days, this is supported by a long standing and experienced nursing team. We also have the tools for basic orthopedics available for suitably experienced candidates.

Time is allocated for admin on a daily basis to allow for calls etc which allows you to concentrate on your patients during consult time without the pressure of needing to squeeze admin in-between.

You will work a combination of early and late shifts, and we are happy to consider working 40 hours over 4 days with 3 days off. Saturdays are on a rotational 1:3 basis. No Sundays and no after hours. We are willing to consider part time work for the right candidate.
