An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in the Staffordshire region as a Mobile Registered Veterinary Nurse. If you like the idea of locumming as an RVN but want the security of a permanent role with all the benefits, this is the role for you.  

This position will offer a varied workload working alongside our supportive teams in our practices. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop and progress, use your initiative and promote new ideas.  

This mobile role will include working at our Newcastle Under Lyme, Nantwich, Stoke-on-Trent, Rocester and Whitchurch practices. 

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

Branch:

Newcastle Under Lyme practice has a very long-standing and friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has a well planned layout including a large reception area, two vet consulting rooms, a nurse consulting room, prep and theatre, digital x-ray and ultrasound, well equipped wards and lab facilities. Our team of three nurses, patient care assistants and two other vets will be happy to welcome you to their world and share their enthusiasm. This is a 2.5 vet, 6 support staff clinic and do lots of cases on cardiology and brachycephalic breeds. 

Medivet Nantwich has a large friendly team of 4 Vets, 3 registered nurses, 1 student nurse, 1 patient care assistant and 2 client care assistants. The practice has digital x-ray, In-house Idexx blood analyzers for haematology & biochemistry and Ultrasound. There is a varied case load including exotic species & orthopaedic surgery. There are separate cattery & kennel areas as well as an isolation unit.  

Rocester practice facilities include digital x-ray, lab equipment, prep area and equipped theatre. You will be exposed to a varied and interesting case load in our clinic. This is a 1 vet, 2 nurse clinic. 

Medivet Stoke on Trent is located on London Road. The practice is very accessible with the M6 and the A50 a 5-minute drive away. You will work closely with our Newcastle branch and refer to this branch for anything beyond Stokes capabilities. This is a 1 vet, 2 nurse clinic.

Whitchurch practice has ample parking and is in close proximity to supermarket and hardware store. The team at Whitchurch consists of two full time vets,, 1 full time RVN’s and 2 SVN’s. This practice has digital x-ray, separate prep and theatre with two consult rooms.
