North Yorkshire Mixed Vet

A unique and exciting opportunity has become available in our independent, expanding, 7 vet genuinely mixed practice, due to a colleague relocating.

We’re looking for a full or part time vet to embrace a fulfilling role with the potential to follow their own species preference if desired.

Our practice is 65% large animal, mainly dairy, but also beef, sheep, equine and product export work; small animal workload is varied (including some exotics!) with opportunities to work cases up to a
high level with an in house lab and new dental x-ray machine etc.

OOH currently 1 in 4 equally shared with the full support of an experienced vet if needed. Rota and hours worked tailored to suit the individuals’ preferences. A dedicated out of hours answering service screen all calls. We have a friendly client base and a close working relationship with them. Salary £35-45K+ dependent on experience.
5 days CPD and RCVS, BVA, BCVA and VDS membership funded.

Northallerton is a stunning market town. It is perfectly situated between the picturesque Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors with plenty of outdoor activities to experience. It also has fantastic rail links. York
(20 mins), London(2:20 mins), Edinburgh (2:20 mins).
