We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful practice in Islington Liverpool Road. 

We are seeking someone with excellent communication and client-facing skills! As an experienced RVN, you can even help shape the next generation as a Clinical Coach, using your knowledge and skills to help train and support nurses of the future! 

Salary and hours: 

• Salary up to £26,295 per annum depending on experience 
• £300 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave

Key accountabilities:

In this role you’ll work closely with Veterinary Surgeons in practice, performing essential nursing duties and ensuring pets have everything they need.

As well as administering treatments, performing diagnostic tests and assisting with surgeries, you’ll also run our popular nurse clinics, offering essential advice to clients on all aspects of pet care, from dental care to weight management.

Branch:

The surgery is located in an affluent vibrant area with gastropubs, bars, coffee shops and restaurants as well as good transport links. We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. Most of our clients are insured and want the best for their pets! 

We have a fantastic team made up of 3 Vets, Head Nurse, 2 RVNs, SVN, 3 PCAs, Office Manager and Reception staff.   

You will be working within a well-equipped practice including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy.

Islington Liverpool Rd feeds into our Kensington 24-Hour Hospital for all out of hour care, managed by our dedicated night team and where patients can be hospitalised - we also have an ambulance service to transport patients.
