We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our branch practice of the Swanbridge Veterinary Group, Cygnet.

What you'll be doing?

Your average day will include a variety of nursing and surgical duties as well as working with the current team in running the branch. Full support will be provided as you will work closely within our experienced team including our Clinical Director who has been with the group for 19 years.

General duties will include: Assisting veterinary surgeons in the execution of their medical and surgical duties including monitoring of anaesthesia, assistance with handling of patients and performance of minor procedures, nurse consultations, overall responsibility for nursing of in-patients under the direction of the veterinary surgeon, data input, client liaison on all aspects of the work at the branch.

This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours a week and 1 in 4 weekends.

The Swanbridge group has a busy 3 Tier Hospital complete with seven branch surgeries.

This role will be based in the Patrington branch (Cygnet) and you will have access to the hospital and all the modern facilities including digital X-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy and a CT diagnostic suite at our Hospital.
