An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in West Green, North London. 

We are a well-equipped diagnostic led practice with digital radiography, dental radiography, a dedicated laboratory, access to ultrasonography and endoscopy equipment and fully-equipped theatre. In addition, we have a spacious waiting area, consulting room and preparation area looking out onto our private garden.

We see a wide and varied case load with many insured pet owners looking for gold standard of care that we strive to deliver. We offer 15 minute appointments with extended consults for complicated cases.

Appointment times are usually 8:30am - 11:30am and 4:30pm - 7pm. The diary is organised in a way to ensure adequate time for urgent/emergency cases, catch up, phone calls, surgeries and breaks. We have many two-vet days which increases our availability for our ever-growing clientele and allows the vets to communicate and support each other.

Full time salary package up to £67,369 per annum depending on experience to include:

• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays

The clinic is situated near Seven Sisters Tube in North London, opposite Downhills Park which has a great café! 

The team consists of a HRVN, SVN and two PCAs. Our team is very much like a family who support each other and pull together. We have a wide range of knowledge across our dedicated team and believe sharing opinions and ideas and regular meetings to discuss cases, outcomes and problems promotes openness, teamwork and a healthy working environment.

West Green feeds into our 24-Hour Hospital in Hendon where all out of hour care is managed by our dedicated night team and patients can be hospitalised, with access to CT and MRI.
