Veterinary Education Specialist - MRCVS Qualified | Non Clinical | Home Based | UK

GVC currently working closely with an established client who have an exciting new position available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for developing others. Could this be your step into developing veterinary talent?

The Role:

Moving away from clinical work, you will be actively involved in developing the next generation of veterinary surgeons in a strategic and supporting role. You will play a key role in a team of 3 who will aim to educate and support new vet surgeons and actively engage in developing their skill sets through structured internal training opportunities. Continuous improvement and clear communication are key traits required for this position.

The role is home based, your location is flexible however you will be required to travel away to practices throughout the UK.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

• RCVS registration
• At least 5 years + experience in clinical practice
• A certificate holder also an advantage
• Experience of mentoring other surgeons and support staff
• Excellent project management and IT skills
• Need to be confident, friendly and enthusiastic with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
