Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet

4. Sociable hours (really!) with regular 5pm finishes as well as a half day off per week to do those things you need to do other than being a vet!
5. A competitive salary depending on what you can bring to the practice ranging from £35K for a new graduate up to £55K + for an experienced vet.

We're looking for:

A motivated individual, keen to develop their clinical skills in a supportive and friendly independent practice. We need a vet who 
will complement the high standard of care we offer to our pets whilst ensuring a good level of communication, empathy, and support to
our lovely clients.

The Role:

The position will involve periods of both consulting and operating, although the rota can be tailored to an individual's strengths. 

The practice provides its own out of hours service, the rota currently involves covering 1:5 weekends and Saturday mornings and usually 1 weekday night although this may change with additional staff members adding to the rota.

A typical week involves:

• 1 or 2 shifts 8.30am to 5pm
• 1 or 2 shifts 8.30am to 6pm
• 1 half day pw 8.30am to 1pm (with additional Friday half day following a weekend on call)
• 1 on call day 8.30am to 6.30pm (the nurse on duty takes the on-call phone)

The Practice:

We're situated in the middle of Devizes, an attractive and thriving Wiltshire market town. The practice operates from a single site. We have new purpose-built air-conditioned facilities including 2 sterile operating theatres, imaging suite and dental theatre with dental x-rays, separate cat and dog and isolation wards, providing a great working environment.
