Veterinary Surgeon

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to perform a mixture of surgery and consultations in general practice. The position is
a 4 day working week with a share of Saturdays with the overall working hours not exceeding 40 hours per week. We offer full support from experienced Veterinary Surgeons for a recent graduate or career progression/certificate funding for more experienced candidate.
Salary range £30,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience.

About Us

We are a reputable, well-established 2-3 Vet practice within the larger Lockwood Veterinary Group. We have a family friendly feel with low staff turnover. Our team is made up of experienced Vets with interest/cert studying in Surgery, Medicine and Ophthalmology. Lockwood Veterinary group also has further cert holders in Surgery, Exotics and Imaging. Good ratio of RVNs also with cert holders in ECC and Feline Medicine. We have well equipped practices including full surgery, digital radiography, in-house lab, ultrasound and dental equipment in all surgeries.

Applicant Requirements

You may be newly qualified or have a wealth of experience to bring to the role as a Vet. The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive and organised with good communication skills. You will be a supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client focused approach.
