An exciting opportunity has arisen for veterinary surgeons to join us, working nights in our Quarrington practice as it progresses to 24 hour status.

Situated on the outskirts of the market town of Sleaford the purpose built Quarrington practice is set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, close to the Lincolnshire wolds and both Nottingham and Lincoln cities.

General duties include: consulting and associated skills (listening, empathising, summarising) routine surgery, lifting and moving animals, handling drugs and chemotherapeutic agents, team leadership and team management, telephone advice, data entry and fee charging.

This is a permanent, full or part-time role working up to 39 hours a week. Various shift patterns can be accommodated including 7 on 7 off and 7 on 21 off.

• Negotiable salary package up to £65,000, depending on experience, which includes a CPD allowance of £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave per annum.

This is a perfect opportunity for a veterinary surgeon who would like to be a key player in helping this practice develop and grow into the 24 hour Medivet Hub practice for the area. The ideal candidate will need to be a qualified MRCVS, already have good experience gained in small animal practice, be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of a wider team.

Further education and development of colleagues is actively encouraged and a certificate can be supported for the successful candidate.

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon, registered with the RCVS.

We can support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK. With current Covid19 regulations we will offer relocation and quarantine support entering the UK.
