We are a well-established and thriving independent mixed practice, based in the glorious Southern Uplands of South Lanarkshire: the playground of outdoor enthusiasts and only a short drive from the cultural centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Thanks to a loyal and growing client base we are looking for both a Mixed Vet and a Farm Vet to join our team.
We offer a generous package, including a car and accommodation if required, as well as a variety of bonus options tailored to your interests. There are also genuine share prospects for the right candidate.
We have a truly 50:50 mix of farm:companion work, with some first opinion equine, currently managed by a team of four full-time vets, two part-time vets and two full time nurses. The vets work a 1:5 rota. Our farm work is predominantly beef and sheep, with some dairy and smallholders.
We would prefer an experienced Farm Vet, or a Mixed Vet with a farm bias to augment our current service, potentially with the addition of a less experienced mixed vet, both of whom would enjoy the clinical freedom to explore an exciting and fulfilling caseload in a supportive practice and a friendly community.
