We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team here at Pet Doctors Cambridge!

This is a part time role working 25 hours per week (5 hours a day) with Saturday work on a rota basis (time off in Lieu for these shifts). Holiday and sickness cover may also be needed.

Pet Doctors Cambridge is a 3 branch practice, based in Soham, Ely and Burwell. There may be travel in between these practices, so access to own transport is desirable.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

We are looking for someone who really cares about animals, with excellent interpersonal skills and who can be a real team player.

Our ideal candidate will have experience within the animal care sector or will have relevant qualifications within animal care.
