Job Details

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to work in the beautiful Weald of Kent!

Your time would be split between our brand new branch in Headcorn and our existing Cranbrook branch.

Within the branches, you will be able to develop your skills in internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, endoscopy, laparoscopic spays, ultrasonography and radiology. You have every opportunity to fully work your own cases up with help from supportive colleagues and also clients who are keen to have the best treatment possible for their animals.

As part of the Medivet team, you are able to work alongside a larger group of vets and nurses and also benefit from equipment in nearby practices, such as a soon to be installed CT machine. We also have a separate cat and dog ward. We are expanding the team due to the growth of the practice. We are willing to make this role flexible to work around your lifestyle.

Your typical day will be 9 AM till 7 PM, 4 days a week. You will get the same day off every week to allow you to plan for your personal life. The weekend rota will be 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Your CPD allowance is £1,500 per year and 3 days. This is alongside the vast amount of free CPD and colleague support that is available to you at Medivet.

Skills and experience:

Looking for a candidate who has all basic surgical skills. We can support those who wish to complete a certificate.

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with RCVS.
