An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Patient Care Assistant - Temporary 6 Month Contract.

Are you an empathetic, well organised, energetic and fun animal lover looking for a new opportunity? Our friendly, fun and supportive team at firstvets are looking for a temporary Patient Care Assistant to work between the Aldridge and Streetly practices.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets when treating animals, admitting patients and general cleaning of the kennel area while providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.. As a team we have really pulled together during these difficult times and it will be advantageous to the team to have an extra pair of hands to help out. This will also include some receptionist duties, general cleaning etc

The vacancy will involve working full time - 40 hrs per week and will include working early / late shifts and the salary is in line with National Minimum Wage.

Our ideal candidate will need experience of handling animals, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
