The Role
Grahams Road Vet clinic are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team working on first opinion small animal caseloads. The role will involve nursing of first opinion patients including nurse consultations, medical nursing of inpatients, dentals, lab work, moni-toring anaesthesia, assisting with surgical procedures and vaccinations. There is scope to also get involved in assisting the Veterinary Surgeons
with Acupuncture patients should you have a desire to learn more about this.
Rota
- Working 40 hours per week – over 5 days but can be flexible
- weekend rota shared equally
- 1 in 4 Saturday working 8am-12pm
- No out of hours

About Us
We are a busy 4 Veterinary Surgeon, 4.5 Veterinary Nurse RCVS accredited small animal practice with an interesting and varied case load. Located in Falkirk, our practice is ideally placed between both Edinburgh and Glasgow for an easy commute. We have a small friendly and approachable team with a variety of interests and experience. Learning and the development of interests will be actively encouraged. We are also in process of becoming a training practice.
Applicant Requirements
You must be a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse and be on the RCVS register. The role can be adapted to suit either a newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse or a more experienced one as full support will be given. Further certification and CPD is encouraged.
