Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. This independent practice has a new opportunity for an experienced, confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

If you are an individual who is commitment to developing and growing both yourself and the clients, then come and join an independent 100% small animal practice in Essex.

Role

The practice is looking for a someone who is confident, friendly and a dynamic veterinary surgeon.

The practice requires someone who is happy with consults and has a good level of confidence with surgery. This practice is sole-charge with the support of 1 RVN, but help and advice is readily available at the main hospital if needed.

• 2- or 3-days pw. 09.00 to 18.30
• No OOHs
• 1:2 Saturday mornings 09.00 to 11.00
• Consultations and a range of operations. Mon - Fri
• Preferable 2+ years’ experience.

This is a Part Time position, but Full Time are available at their other practices where they are expanding their growing teams.

The Practice

This Independent veterinary practice has now been open for 5 years and continues to serve the residents of the pretty market town of Saffron Waldon.

A large number of clients have insurance which enables you to fully work up cases. Everyone gets a share of consultations and operations, you are encouraged to fully work up your own cases to a conclusion, if you don’t have the skills, they can help. They have certificate or equivalent holders in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Behaviour. They also have vets with considerable experience in allergies and heart scans.  Development is actively encouraged – we give a cpd allowance of £1,500 per annum or £3,000 for people enrolling on certificate programs.
