The Role

Full time vet surgeon required within our Arg Beiyn practice, 100% working with small animals in the practice, with an additional option,
to undertake an amazing opportunity to work within the Wildlife Park at Ballaugh as the resident small animal vet alongside your clinic role. Giving you exposure to various animals from large cats, birds of prey, primates, meerkats, penguins, and red pandas. Working 36 hours per week with a shared OOH rota supported by RVN’s.

About the Team and Culture

We already have an established, experienced team of 7 vets, ranging from 4-14 years, with special areas of interest in surgery, ophthalmology, ultrasound, dentistry, and medicine. With 15 mins consults in no more than 2 hr blocks. We are very well equipped and have a supportive, proactive management team, allowing the staff to concentrate on what they do best.

Applicant Requirements

Permanent position: 100% small animal Veterinary Surgeon (with experience), must be RCVS registered. For candidates also interested
in the WLP option, this is an ideal role for someone looking to gain exposure to Wildlife animals as well as small animals, with full training provided for the wildlife park role.
