Independent SA Practice on South Coast seeks Enthusiastic Vet - All Levels Welcomed

Our independent client based on the South Coast of West Sussex are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with a passion for excellence to join their team on a permanent basis.

This highly qualified team work together to provide considerable and wide-ranging medical and surgical expertise. By working as a team with individual specialist interests that include soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, ultrasonography, orthopaedics and cardiology they are able to provide the very best of care for each and every pet and illness.

The position involves working as part of this 6 vet, 7 RVN team at their main clinic where consultations are 15 minutes (average), and vets are encouraged to follow their cases. Surgical caseload is shared equally and case discussions are encouraged and welcomed. The day team no longer undertake their own OOH but they do work their cases up to a 
high level and hospitalise their own inpatients 24/7 onsite.

The ideal candidate will have an approachable manner and good inter-personal skills are essential.  You will be actively encouraged to have your own clinical freedom, CPD and career progression and the team would be interested to discuss your future goals and fund a certificate if you have found your interest.
Likewise if you are newly qualified the team have 4 experienced colleagues willing and able to provide you with all the support you need to kickstart your career in the industry.

The practice has modern equipment including digital x-ray, endoscope, rhinoscope, ultrasound, ECG, Slit Lamp, suction, pulse ox and recently upgraded lab equipment.

The working week is a 4-day week plus one Saturday or Sunday per month, preferred, but negotiable, no OOH and part-time applications are welcomed. 
Depending upon experience you can earn up to £70k and enjoy 5 weeks annual leave.

The practice is just 15 minutes south of the stunning South Downs and this attractive seaside town is the perfect location for water-sports, walking, cycling and exploring, and is in easy reach of Brighton, Chichester and London.
