Night Vet opportunity with 7 nights on, 14 nights off, within a tier 3 hospital close to Nottingham City Centre

How does a night role with 7 nights on and 14 nights off sound? We are looking for a night vet looking for an excellent work live balance that is passionate about emergency work in the Nottingham area. This tier 3 hospital has all the facilities you could need and has plans to expand with the addition of a CT scanner on the horizon.
You will have the support of an experienced nurse and accommodation can be provided. You will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients throughout the night, dealing with emergency cases as they arrive, assisting the nursing staff to ensure all duties are performed before the morning shift, dispensing treatment and medication as required and overall responsibility for premises during the night.
In return for your commitment to providing a leading emergency service, you will be offered a very competitive salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience. CPD is also actively encouraged and funded as well as other company perks and discounts.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be registered with the RCVS to practice in the UK
  • Previous night work/ECC is essential
  • Ability to remain calm and work methodically during stressful situations to deal with incoming emergencies
