Exciting opportunity for a small animal vet to join a friendly and supportive 1st opinion practice within 10 minutes of Liverpool City Centre

Calling all Liverpool based vets! An exciting opportunity to join a modern, bright, air-conditioned practice with a lovely team has come up within 10 minutes of the Liverpool City Centre. Due to expansion, this four-vet practice is looking for an additional vet to join their friendly, experienced and supportive team.

You'll work alongside a dedicated team of 7 RVNs, 1 VCA, a student nurse, a practice manager and 9 client care assistants who all play an important role in providing the highest level of care to their patients. They also make it a friendly and sociable working environment and lovely place to work - proven by the low staff turnover and plenty of long-standing members of the team.

The practice itself is a large purpose-built site with 5 bright, air conditioned consult rooms and a large 2-table ops theatre that houses a whole host of modern and up-to-date equipment including digital X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, orthopaedic equipment, tonometry, in house lab and much more. Not only will the successful applicant have access to all of these excellent facilities, but they will see a varied and interesting case load, perfect for someone working towards a certificate or thinking of starting one in the near future.

In return for your commitment to providing the highest level of care to your patients, you will be rewarded with an industry leading work-like balance with a 3-day week, 1-in-4 weekends (with TOIL) and no OOH! The 3 working days are always Mon-Wed or Wed-Fri meaning you always have 4 days off in a row (or 5-days off in a row the week after working the weekend). In addition, you will be offered a competitive salary, an excellent holiday allowance plus your birthday off, and support and funding towards CPD up to certificate level, not to mention other company perks such as discounts etc.
