We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time permanent basis or on a shorter-term basis to cover maternity leave.

We also welcome part time applications. Although we are a mixed practice the role would be primarily small animal and will include theatre work, nurse consultations and inpatient care. The full-time rota for this role will be:

• 40-hour week consisting of 8-hour shifts
• Additional 1 in 5 Saturday mornings
• 1 in 5 out of hours weekends

For an experienced Nurse who is interesting in progressing their career and who has a passion for leading and mentoring, the position of Head Nurse can also be available.

Fort William is a fantastic area for all types of outdoor pursuits. It is a safe community for bringing up a family with a direct train link to Glasgow and London.

With our close team approach, we aim to provide outstanding client service and deliver the highest standard of clinical care and our Registered Veterinary Nurses play an important role in achieving this.

We are an 8 Veterinary Surgeon practice with 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 student Veterinary Nurses and support team. We are RCVS tier 2 accredited and a Registered Veterinary Nurse training practice. We have one main practice and one branch practice and also run mobile clinics where we visit various outlying communities around the area.

Working together and supporting each other as a team is central to the way we do things. We all put in 100% every day to give back to the local community by looking after the animals in our area in the best way that we can. We are proud to be a traditional mixed practice moving forward in a progressive way with our busy small animal side.

Our ideal candidate must be a good team player who will fit in well with the rest of the Team. You will have a good rapport with clients and patients and experience would be wonderful, but we would also be happy to consider a new graduate.
