Are you a non-vet looking to work towards an ATT qualification?
Do you have some prior experience with cattle and livestock and looking to progress your career?
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our existing team of
Vets, TB testers and admin staff; the successful candidate will work closely with the whole team.
Candidates will need to have some prior experience with cattle and livestock, and will need minimum qualifications (can be found below) to become an ATT. Approved Tuberculin Testers (ATTs) are para-veterinary professionals with the authority to carry out statutory TB skin testing of cattle. Although ATTs can conduct skin tests, responsibility for interpretation of their test results rests with an APHA vet. ATTs must undertake a comprehensive training package consisting of both theoretical and practical on the job training.
This role is permanent working 32 hours per week, over 4 days - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (8.30am-5pm with 30-minutes for lunch) - some flexibility required.

- Three GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics, English and in a Science subject or Food Production
- Three years performance in a Government regulatory role e.g. Local Authority (LA) Inspector or Environmental Health Officer (EHO)
