Veterinary Surgeon - Gloucestershire

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. The position could be part time or full time depending on the applicant. The vet team cover our own OOH service and the nurse team stay on site and take all calls. Vets work a 1 in 6 weekend rota with generous lieu time off the week after. The team includes certificate holders and those currently working towards certificates.

We will support further study towards certificates and we wish to tailor the job to your strengths. Full time position has 25 days holiday plus your birthday off every year. There is also increased holiday allowance with long service. We offer a commission-based salary scheme that you can opt into.

The practice is located in the beautiful Cotswolds, close to Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath. Clockhouse is a very friendly, high standard first opinion team that fully works up medical cases and performs advanced surgical procedures e.g. TTA, perineal urethrostomy and laparascopic procedures. The hospital is well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, echocardiography and on site lab with biochemistry and haematology machines. We have close links to a nearby referral centre with access to CT.

The ideal candidate must be MRCVS registered and have a passion for small animal practice. Certificate qualification would be beneficial but not required. We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to work in a friendly, relaxed and supportive 9 vet team as part of a hospital status practice.
