An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our Bloomsbury practice in Central London. 

This role can work on a part-time basis, 3-days (Mon-Weds) at Bloomsbury or full-time with the rest of your week in our Kensington hospital. 

This position has been created for the re-opening of the clinic which will specialise in Ophthalmology, working alongside an Ophthalmologist and Client Care Assistant. 

Salary and hours: 

  • Salary £29,573 - £34,615 per annum depending on experience - includes £2000 London weighting 
  • RCVS, VDS and BVNA membership fees paid 
  • £300 CPD allowance with 2 days CPD leave 
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Hours can be full or part-time with 1:6 weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover with TOIL 
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay (Maternity and Shared Parental and Adoption Pay offers 13 weeks full pay, 13 weeks half pay followed by 13 remaining weeks at statutory. Paternity offers 2 weeks full pay)

Branch:

Bloomsbury is a lovey clinic in Central London, excellently situated within 5-10 minutes walk from Farringdon, Barbican and Old Street Tube Stations.

Just 5 minutes down the road, you'll also have access to our larger sister branch, Clerkenwell. Clerkenwell have a growing referral caseload with on-site CT, equipped to a high standard with an exotics case load. 

These clinics feed into our 24-Hour Hospital in Kensington for all out of hour care, and the region also has it's own ambulance service.
