VETERINARY SURGEON – FULL TIME

HINCKLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE

Due to exciting growth plans, Ignacio and Nicola at Hinckley Vets4Pets are recruiting for an experienced Vet to join their team! Based inside a busy Pets at Home store in the centre of town the practice offers free onsite parking, is only a 1 minute walk from the train station,  easy access to the M1 and is just 40 minutes from both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport.

The practice sees a high caseload of exotics, benefits from a Certificate holder in Exotics within the team and is the exotics referral surgery for the region. The practice is modern and spacious with state of the art equipment including digital xray, in-house lab including microscope, SNAP tests, IDEXX blood machines. Anesthetic monitoring equipment: capnography, pulse oximeter and blood pressure monitor. Ventilator and incubator.

You will be joining a friendly 2 partner team consisting of 4 vets, 8 RVNs including Head Nurse, 3 ACA’s, receptionist team & practice manager. You will ideally be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy building strong relationships with clients, patients and the wider team. Due to the experience within the existing team, applications from recently qualified vets will be considered. The partners are very supportive of CPD and are willing to fund a certificate for the right individual.

The role is full time (approx. 40 hours per week) with a 1 in 3 weekend rota, no OOH and only occasional sole charge responsibility.
