Veterinary Surgeon - Londonderry

We have a great opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal team in a well-established practice on the beautiful Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland five minutes from the sandy beaches of Portstewart and Portrush.

Duties are divided between consulting, operating and case workups. CPD is encouraged and individual interests and post graduate study supported. The rota is 1 in4 and the OOH cover is shared equally between all veterinary staff. Flexible rota and one long weekend off every 4 weeks.

We are a friendly and enthusiastic team that prides ourselves in providing a high standard of patient and client care in all aspects of first opinion small animal practice. We have all modern facilities including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and a brand-new in-house lab. As well as our fabulous location we also provide free gym membership and encourage sport and outside interests.

We are a close-knit team that enjoys friendly client relationships and a busy and varied caseload. We have and experienced team of 4 veterinary surgeons and 7 nursing and reception staff. We support the local Cats Protection League and compete in the annual Waggy Races.

We are looking for a caring and competent Veterinary Surgeon to join our team and work together in a busy working environment. Client communication and empathy, time management and basic small animal consulting and surgery skills are essential. We can provide a competitive salary and benefits package.
