Our client based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales are looking for a full time experienced veterinary surgeon to join their practice on a permanent basis. 

The team have 14 vets and 16 RVNs plus trainees and support staff over 3 sites. Each site is fully equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, dental and operating facilities. Enhanced facilities are available at the main surgery, and they have recently invested in a video endoscope, arthroscope and a laparoscope. 

The vets in the team are very experienced and have certificate holders in medicine, cardiology and surgery, and nurses doing diplomas in anaesthesia, ECC and hydrotherapy. The team also pride themselves on offering their own inpatient and OOH service to all their clients. 

The ideal candidate will want to work a full time 40 hours over 4 days, but the team are also open to discussing part-time hours for the right individual.
The role will suit a certificate holder, or someone interested in studying for a certificate, as the team see a wide and interesting case load backed up by a large proportion of insured clients.

The OOH commitment would be based around 1-5, with time off in lieu.

You will have a minimum of 1 years UK experience and achieved a starting salary of around £34,000. More expereinced vets will be rewarded comfortably and fairly with a highreer salary. 
In addition you can also expect;
5 days CPD with a £1500 allowance
RCVS, BSAVA and VDS fees paid
6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays (or time off in lieu)


Based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, yet within 30 minutes by train to Leeds and 20 minutes from Leeds Bradford International Airport you really will have the best of both worlds and be able to achieve a fantastic work life balance.
