Salary: £30,942 to £40,322 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science has established a successful CPD programme, and is seeking an experienced small animal practitioner to further develop the small animal CPD offerings, including forging collaborations within and outside the University, with a focus on the delivery of training and support to early career veterinary surgeons.

You will develop, participate in and facilitate teaching and supervision of early career postgraduate veterinary surgeons, in particular to contribute to and help develop the School’s post-graduate clinical small animal CPD programme, especially in Personal and Professional Skills.

The post will require dynamism, a ‘can do’ attitude, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have good communication skills. You will take an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, and will be expected to engage and be involved in the wider life of the School as required.

You should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, a post-graduate teaching or clinical qualification would be an advantage.

The post is offered on a full time (36.25 hours per week), permanent contract. Job share arrangements may be considered.
