An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Patient Care Assistant working part-time on a temporary 6 month contract.

Already working within a veterinary practice as a care assistant and looking for a new opportunity?

Our friendly, fun and supportive team at County Vets Sandbach are looking for a temporary patient care assistant to support our team during these busy times.

This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses when treating animals, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

You will enjoy being part of a busy fast paced working environment. This can be a really rewarding role where you will play a crucial part to our clients pets to live happier, healthy and longer lives. As a team we have really pulled together during these difficult times, a fantastic team spirit is crucial to us and it will be to you too.

We require someone to work 24hrs per week with no weekend work, and the salary is in line with national minimum wage.

Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
